JESUS, First in the Church: We Are His Body (Pt. 2)

December 29, 2019 Pastor: Verne Nakasone Series: Colossians

Passage: Colossians 1:18

OVERVIEW:

The overarching message of Colossians is JESUS first! This is reiterated in 1:18b, “that in all things He may have the preeminence.”

This is the only place in all of the NT where this word is found. It means to be first, to hold the highest rank. This morning, we’ll discover the specific place where the supremacy of Christ is on display.
