Passage: Colossians 1:21–1:22
Reconciliation is a major salvation word as it relates to salvation like redemption, justification, and propitiation. The reconciliation that is addressed here is between God and man.
The word is used to describe the restoration of a right relationship between God and man.

This provides direction on how we ought to live.
- I must deal swiftly with any sin to restore my nearness and closeness with God
- I must fill my mind with God’s Word and all that is holy, righteous, and pure
- I must commit to do the right actions despite what I think or how I feel
