“submit” – Made up of two words: To arrange and underneath

“resist” – Composed of two words: against and to stand
“devil” - Slanderer and accuser
2C. According to God’s promise
“flee” – This is actually the word escape.
The Word of God and prayer are essential for you to be submitting to God and resisting the devil.
Furthermore, personal and continual devotion to the Word of God and prayer displays a humble heart.
