Celebrating Our God
Passage: Nehemiah 9:1–9:38
The events of chapters 8 and 9 took place in the span 24 days. For 24 days in a row, God’s people gathered for 4 to 5 hours. They gathered to worship the LORD in spirit and truth (Matthew 15:8; John 4:23-24).

1C. God gave His ordinances, laws, statutes, and commandments (vv.13-15)
2C. God’s people were proud, stubborn, disobedient, and rebellious (vvv.16-17a)
3C. God is ready to pardon, gracious, merciful, kind, and did not forsake them (vv.17b-19)
3B. Because He is our resource, verses 20-31.
1C. God provided in the Wilderness (vv.20-21)
2C. God provided a Promise Land (vv.22-31)
4B. Because He is our rejoicing, verses 32-38.
1C. Recognize that God is faithful to His promise (vv.32-33a)
2C. Realize that we have done wickedly (v.33b-35)
3C. Remember that we are His servants (vv.36-38)
