Our servant leaders

Pastor Verne has been the pastor/teacher and at Foothill Bible Church since 1981. His primary responsibility has always been the shepherding and teaching of God's Word. He is a graduate of the Sacramento Bible Institute.  Pastor Verne serves as a chaplain with Sutter Roseville Medical Center. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Fundamental Churches of America International.  Pastor has also been President and Trustee of the Regional Executive Committee of the Northern California IFCA . He is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the IFCA California Church Extension Committee.  Pastor Verne also serves as an Elder here at Foothill.
 Pastor Verne and his wife Donna were married in 1980 and  have been blessed with seven children and five grandchildren.

Ben Schroeder began his ministry with Foothill Bible Church in 2016. Ben is married and both he and his wife Anna are graduates of Bob Jones University.  Ben completed his post-graduate work at Moody Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity. Ben and Anna were married in 2015 and they have four delightful children. Ben serves as Pastor of the Young Adult Ministry and leads our Sunday Service Worship Team. 

Rebekah Leiplein was born, raised, and baptized in Foothill Bible Church. She attended Cornerstone Christian School and their extensive high-school theology program. She graduated from Chico State University in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management and Hospitality, focusing on Event and Program Management. In addition to being the Foothill Kids Director, Rebekah is also the executive producer for Cornerstone Christian School Theatre Department. 

Jim began serving as an Elder here at Foothill Bible Church in 2020.   Jim and his wife Marie have been married since 2003,   In addition to his team oversight duties, Jim teaches a Men's Bible study, a Life Group as well as periodic Adult Sunday School classes.
