The Humble Joy of Prayer - Part 1

Pastor Verne preaching from Philippians 4:6, “The Humble Joy of Prayer.” Prayer is an essential piece of Christian living. Christians pray. Prayer is discussed at the end of verse 6 and is built upon three important lessons. We’ll learn the instruction not to be anxious, the intercession to pray about everything, and the ingredient of thanksgiving that is to accompany our requests to God. Too often, we jump immediately to our prayer requests and expect instant peace. However, this verse contains the lessons upon which we pray our requests which result in the peace of God (4:7).
