Pastor Verne preaching on part 2 of orderly work from Second Thessalonians 3:10-12. A Christ-centered life works diligently to provide for the needs of living and giving. We’ll learn about the commandment that the Apostle Paul first taught the church at Thessalonica at the start. The commandment is: If anyone does not work, neither shall he eat. This verse points to a person’s unwillingness to work. The concern of the Apostle Paul is the restoration of the disorderly (Galatians 6:1) who are in the church. He instructs the disorderly not to be busybody and not to resist God. God is calling us to draw near to Him, to surrender to Him, and to humble ourselves underneath His mighty hand.
