Magnify the King - Luke 1:46-55

Dec 21, 2025

This Sunday morning, we are considering the song of Mary (Luke 1:46-55) after the appearance and announcement by the angel Gabriel that she would bring forth the Messiah (Luke 1:26-45). After visiting her relative Elizabeth, who was bearing John the Baptist, Mary bursts forth with praise and worship to magnify the King. We’ll learn of our personal reasons for magnifying the Lord (Luke 1:46-50). We magnify the Lord because we belong to Him, because we are blessed by Him, and because of the beauty of the Lord. We’ll also learn about the prophetic reasons we magnify the Lord (Luke 1:51-55). The Bible is filled with example after example of God strengthening, working, providing, and being faithful to His people. And our same God is performing these wondrous deeds today for you. Our God continues to bless us so we may be a blessing to one another. that God is strengthening us, working in us, providing for us, and being faithful to us. This is why we love the Lord, worship the Lord, and serve the Lord.
